Running for Alzheimer's
/Today I am committed to focusing on my own health.
I was an avid runner years ago and nothing felt better than to go outside, surrounded by Mother Nature and run.
I recently read a very interesting article highlighting a new study from the Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease, which found that those who ran at least 15.3 miles per week experienced a 40% reduction in Alzheimer’s mortality. Exercise might be the best prescription when it comes to preventing Alzheimer's.
Today I commit to myself, my family and you! Let's work together to help create awareness for Alzheimer's! I pledge to run/walk (need to ease back into this!) three miles every day for the next 30 days, let's do this together!
